easy I download SuSE10.0 and a eval version of virtual pc 2004 and installed it like it was on a different pc.
 
he's running it with microsoft virtual pc. oh yeah i finally got ubuntu working in a virtual machine but it just wont install on the real thing LOL.

thats awesome..i installed linux then took it off, it completely messed up my com, so i had to reformat it...lol
 
vmware player is better, and free, and fast. You can even install everything like Linux as it evevn gives you a virtual hd to use, which is sonthing you can make youself. Virtual PC is way expendsiv, and even Qemu is free ( http://www.oszoo.org/ ) so I find it better to usee a free alternative. Just install any os and run it like it's really there. It's awsome. :D
 
Thanks I'll give that a try. I was looking for a freeware version I'm running out of days on the eval.
 
you may want to know that you can even use a direct iso image.
You may want to search for more info.
