i got viruses....what should i do?

Hello. I got a bad news.

nortan antivirus has detected 9 viruses in my computer, i think that sounds scary. None of them were repaired/deleted, or anything.

now, what should i do to get them out? i fell so scared! i dont want my parens to find out! :eek: :(

and also, question #2, next time i want to downlaod something form the internet, and beofre i start, i want norton to virusacna it, how do i do that?

Help greatly neended.

sorry but norton is poo so I cant help you on the secound one, for the first question is find the files and see what they are if there ok to be removed then remove them, if there not ok to be removed then the virus wust be a well named one so get the name and do a search for it on Google and there will be info all about it :)

I remove all viruses by hand as norton is a con and a really bad made software :)

Lucky you, most people aren't so fortunate. And if you read the original post, Norton has got no idea what to do with them!

Ok, you got some crap, run Spysweeper then we'll got what's left.

Download the trial version of Spy Sweeper from Here

Install it using the Standard Install option. (You will be asked for your e-mail address, it is safe to give it. If you receive alerts from your firewall, allow all activities for Spy Sweeper)

You will be prompted to check for updated definitions, please do so.
(This may take several minutes)

Click on Options > Sweep Options and check Sweep all Folders on Selected drives. Check Local Disc C. Under What to Sweep, check every box.

Click on Sweep and allow it to fully scan your system.

When the sweep has finished, click Remove. Click Select All and then Next

From 'Results', select the Session Log tab. Click Save to File and save the log somewhere convenient.

Exit Spy Sweeper.

Restart the computer, then post a new Hijackthis log.

ok, the trial is downlaoding, will take about 40 minutes for me!! :eek: but anyway, once i get rid of that ,crap,. is their chances that some virus will go away???
