How can i support and use 3 LCD monitors at the same time ? my Video card is a Radeion X1650 ICEQ pro 512 mb, as of now im using 2 LCDS 17 inch now, how can i put a 3rd one on ?

By getting another videocard (or depending on how you need to use that third screen, a DVI/VGA splitter, TV tuner, etc)

You can get another video card. Simply do not activate SLI (or in your case Crossfire) so your cards will work independently, so you could run multiple screens.

well the thing is , i dont want to get another card , but in the future im getn the 9600, i want to run 3 screens on my current car and future card, but they only have 2 DVI slots, is there a splitter out there ? or somting i cna do to use 3 LCD screens on 1 card ?

That wasn't clear, if you have your current card + your future one, could have two monitors on each, so four monitors...

As for a splitter, you could get something from Matrox

Here are a few possible Matrox products that will do the trick

However, I think it would be cheaper just to get another video card. The dualhead2go from matrox (the splitter) can shoot for $140. While a nvidia 6200 PCI would be alot cheaper (as long as you use it for your secondary screens, not for gaming). Or if you do just get that other card in the future and keep your old one, that would be worth waiting for.

no no no ahaha u misheard me, what i meant is , my current card is the X1650, my future card is going to be the 9600GT, i cant have 4 monitors, nor do i hav another computer. but ya , thats what im looking for , which is a PCI DVI/VGA Splitter

Its worth it if you dont wanna buy another card. Plus you dont have to mess around with software when using 2 cards.

but im planning on buying the 9600GT real soon, so i think it would be a cheaper descision to geta PCI splitter and the videocard, where as i jus stay with the same videocard that doesnt play games with High settings .wouldnt u agree.

Pros- Better Graphics, getting 9600GT
Cons- $ cost almost the same.

G25, I have mentioned using one of those before, but it is simply more cost effective to use a cheap PCI graphics card.

Yeah - you leave your X1650 in it's current slot, and then in one of the white PCI slots next to it you stick your 6200 PCI graphics card. You can then plug another monitor into that, and the performance of your X1650 will be unaffected.

thats good to hear, but would it be better to get a DVI splitter cord,

one end sticks into one of the DVI slots and spilts off into 2
