I have 2 program files

OK so I re-installed Vista 64 bit and now I have "Program Files" and "Program Files(x86)". "Program Files(x86)" is my new install. I can't delete "Program Files". What can I do to remove it?

You're suppose to have two folders. One handles x86, the other handles x64 programs.
