I have a linksys router, is it possible to change my SSID name

When I first got the router, the guy at customer service that I talked to , set my SSID name of the connection to my name and I want to chanbge it to something else


is it possible to change the name without messing anything up

yes.. Log in and change it. It can be anything you want... i think a max of like 15.

Sure is. Open Internet Explorer or any other browser, and type in 192.168.1.1

The default password should be admin and admin.

Then go to the Wireless page, and change the SSID.
