The other day i had a friend over and he wanted to play on my computer, He decided he wanted to play csgo. I run csgo go on max settings easily so i wasn't to concerned at all. after maybe 1 and a half hours of playing he had to go and quit out of csgo. When he quit out my monitor started to tear and lines like you find on old tv's started to appear. I was pretty shocked so i turned up my fan speed and turned off my monitor and let my PC sit, This fixed the problem.

I'm thinking my GPU over heated but i could be wrong. Please input your thought's, they are very appreciated

    Also I'm new here :)

    (PC SPECS)
    AMD FX-6300
    MSI GTX 950
    16 GB OF RAM
    500W PSU

Ewww, I can't stand that unit. Had a few problems with it. Look into getting a cx500 or evga 500 watt single rail psu. With the unit you have its has dual 12 volt rails where 1 is dedicated to video and the other is for the rest of the machine. It may be out of spec and causing problems pushing the video card. Otherwise may just be the card overheating. Is your case decently ventilated with good fans?

I would say it's definitely alright when it come's to ventilation, and the fan's are alright.

Change that powersupply. Thermaltake in general is garbage IMO.

How is the OP ever going to learn to use apostrophes properly if you're not going to leave my comment up?

You're not a spelling and grammar instructor. You're a bum on a computer forum that tests my patience on the daily!

We are not here to pick apart how someone posts. We are here to help them with their computer issues. If you want to help someone be more grammatical, then go to a different forum.

Welcome. At this point, its either the psu or the video card. You could run gpuz to check temps.

Fresh install of drivers isn't a bad idea either.

My vote is your video card is overheating or gonna start going out. You can always pop the side of your PC case open to ventilate out hot air and see if you still have this issue.

No hostility, just making a point. Just saying that many people come in here and ask why something that is brand new could be broke or failing.
