I am guessing you need to make the page file bigger or add ram. To make the page file bigger:

1.Right click on the My Computer Icon (it won't work on a link)
2.Click on the "Advanced" tab
3.Click on the "Performence" button
4.Click on the "Advanced" tab in the new window
5.Under the "Virtual memory" Section, click "change"
6.Increase the "Maximum size"

Note: This is for windows XP. If you have a different version try googling a tutorial or ask us about the different version.

I have increased it from 1536 to 1540 .. is this enough??
this massage is always appears from task bar..
today .. it appeared as massage box ....
i am afraid ...
this massage did'nt appear befor ,, never,never .

i need your helllllllllllllp

4 mb more wont make much of a difference. Try like 2024 if it can go that high. Does it happen when you are running certain programs or many programs at once. You could also increase the minimum page file size as well (some sites sugest making them both the same). What size is your hard drive and how much ram do you have?

often, when i am connecting to the internet and opening many websites at once

What size is your hard drive and how much ram do you have?
40 GB hardware
510 MB RAM

With 510 ram you should have enough just to open a couple websites... Comon other people... It has only been RoseMary and me so far and I am running out of ideas...

If you can make the error message come up consistently, try opening the task manager (ctrl+alt+delete) and clicking on the "performence" tab. There should be a category that is called "physical memory (K)". When the computer gets the error is the "availible" number in the "physical memory (K)" section 0? If it is, that means you are running out of ram. Also, the second graph labled "page file usage history" will be at 100% if you are running out of the page file. If the page file is full then you should make it bigger again. If the page file or ram arent full, then I am out of ideas and i'll see if I can get someone else to help.

check for funny things running with windows (in the task manager->processes tab) there must be a lot there that doesn't need to be.

Could you tell us how many processes are actually running (tells you in the bottom left corner when you press CTRL+ALT+DEL)?

Even better why don't you run a spyware scan as well!!!

hi ..
sorry, i'm going to absent because i have exams and i have to study
i will come back to continue and answer your question
don't forget me OK :)

lol we wont :)

I have increased it from 1536 to 1540 .. is this enough??
That increase is insignificant however 1.5GB should be sufficient on its own. Try setting it to 2048 and if you still have problems then thats an indidcation of other things gone wrong

Hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii;

When the computer gets the error is the "availible" number in the "physical memory (K)" section 0? If it is, that means you are running out of ram.
i don't know..this error didn't apeare after increasing the page file
today .. while i was opening alot of windows at same time ( about 5 windows) , a message apeared when i tried to open a new application ...
this message sayed ( i don't remember exactly ) :
you are running out of ------ ( i don't remember this word) you can not open this application

check for funny things running with windows (in the task manager->processes tab) there must be a lot there that doesn't need to be.

there are about 41 or 46 processes are running

Even better why don't you run a spyware scan as well!!!
what's a spyware??

Try setting it to 2048
done

Looks like increasing the virtual memory has helped. If you want you could increase it from 2048 to even higher (3072) but you shouldn't need to.

Spyware are virus-like programs that install themselvs on your computer without you knowing and then gather information about you (keystrokes, passwords, that kind of stuff...).

To get rid of them use spy-bot and ad-aware (both are free).
