i have a question, mhz of ram

i have a 1g stick of pc 2700 that runs at 200 Mhz
And a stick of pc 2700 512 stick that is at 166 mhz

is the decrease between the 512 and 1g because the 512 is smaller, or is this a bad thing? It registers both the sticks of ram.

your ram may be rated at 200 and 166 but both sticks will be run at the lower of the 2, so both are running at 166.

Assumign the sticks are of comparable performance, the answer is "most of the time"
