I have decided on a new computer. Some questions though.

I just want opinions from everyone here, I am sure I am a novice to most on this board. I wanted to ensure compatability and take suggestions. I do have a graphics card btw, just an x1300 PCIe for now. Thank you for you comments, please be specific! Also I plan on overclocking, suggestions for that as well. Please help me decide on a mobo as well!

Well I lack the funds otherwise. It seems that video cards don't last as long as processors so I would rather wait for the next gen graphics card or find an affordable replacement. Suggestions....?

make sure that RAM is compatible with the board because there have beens probs with that RAM and other boards

BFG GeForce 7900 GT OC / 256MB GDDR3 / SLI / PCI Express / Dual DVI / HDTV / Video Card

OCZ XTC Gold 1024MB PC5400 DDR2 667MHz Gamer Memory

Asus P5NSLI NVIDIA Socket 775 ATX Motherboard / Audio / PCI Express / Gigabit LAN / S/PDIF / USB 2.0 / Serial ATA / RAID

Intel Core 2 Duo E6400 2.13GHz / 2MB Cache / 1066MHz FSB / Dual-Core / Socket 775 / Processor with Fan

I downgraded and chnaged memory brands, changed mobo's for a cheaper and SLI ready, and added a video card, and also went from a e6600 to a e6400, do you think this is better?

These changes cost just a little bit more, it is now 1306.89

that looks like a good rig except you need to drop the ocz and get corsair. if funds allow you should get ddr2 800 instead instead of 667.

I would but the new mobo doesn't support it, any other mobo's similar that do support it? I'll check out the other brands.

Don't skimp on the motherboard if you want to overclock! The choices you had before were much better (as far as for a motherboard).

Which ones? Well better yet make a recommendation, I really have no brand loyalty or vast knowledge or expierence, most of my knowledge coems from text. So feel free to give advice/suggestions.

Gigabyte 965P-DS3 Intel Socket 775 ATX Motherboard

right now this seems liek the forerunner.... to me...
