i plugged in an S-Video cord from my TV to my comp..they were both on..i don't see why that would matter....

anyway, windows locks up, so when i have to reboot it I get this message and i can't do anything, even booting from a xp cd...

reboot and select proper or insert book media and select a boot device

wtf? what do i do????
 
It's not a good idea to plug together equipments while they are on. Did you noticed some spark when plugged in that cable?
 
noooooo....i've done this kinda thing before. it's kinda second nature.

the comp boots, i can do everything with bios and all that. i can't get windows to boot from the CD...

so....????

why in the hell would that happen by hooking in a S-Video?

it sees my HDD's
