So I just got like 400 bucks on me that I didnt know I have and I am now happy. So I been wanting to upgrade my PC for a long time now and I am in need of it. The sig I have is my current spec and I need to replace a few things of the following:
Motherboard
RAM
Case
PSU
1 TB Hard Drive
Heatsink for my CPU
A Windows 7 OEM

I can salvage other parts like my 9800GT, 2 extra HD's, my DVD drives, and my CPU that I can replace later if it needs to be. I would appreciate my friend if you can help me what parts would be legit for how much I am spending. Much appreciate it my friends! Cheers!

Your PSU is the part that needs the most upgrading, honestly. Not sure what case you have but it can probably live for a while. GPU is ok, for now, but the CPU is old...no sense getting a better mobo for it.

Your sig shows you already have Win7 pro?

This will give you a good base to start upgrading from:

Gigabyte 870 + Phenom II 955- $227

RAM- 2x2GB G-skill Ripjaws- $60

PSU- Neo ECO 520C- $58 ($15 rebate)

HDD- Samsung Spinpoint F3 1TB- $51 with code: HOLIDAYCHEER

From there, I'd sell what you replace and upgrade the rest of your components.

Thank you once again gentlemen! I have taken what you both posted and did some tinkering and I believe I found the comb I wished for. Thank you again guys! You have my greatest thanks!

Edit: Does this case look good in person? And will it have enough air flow? My GPU runs hot and I dont want the same mistake is all.

I have my little brother's sitting right next to me and yes, it does look good in person. Only comes with two fans, butt hat's alright. Leave one on the back and move the one in front to the side panel to cool your GPU.

If you want to add some, Yate Loon makes very good fans for very low prices. Use google shopping to find them...the different models are scattered around. Remember that the side panel can take a 140mm, and the front ant top can either take 2x120mm or 1x200mm.

Most excellent, thank you again for your assistance!
