I just got a free 10 day trial code for WoW.. now where do I get the game?

if you have a trail key, you can download the game and create an account using the Key.
Downloading the game isnt illegal,.. since you cant play it without paying the monthly fee (unless you have a trail key ofcourse.. bit those can only be used to create an account, not to use on an exsisting account :) )
so.. if you know someone with the game, ask if you can borrow his CD's to instal it. however, the download of the patches so far can be quite big :o
 
the game is alot cheaper now
25 canadian dollars atm...20 usd i believe,i'd try it,if you like it,go ahead and buy it and pay the subscription fee,for new players,its really fun to get to 60 for your first time..though later on..the replay value is horrid.
 
Last time I checked, Blizzard doesn't have a download client, but I could be wrong...... You may be able to download it from other sites...... Your best bet to make a friend with somebody who has the WoW disks....

i disagree with that,.. i have 3 lvl 60's now, and im still not bored of it. :)
also, once lvl 60, you'll have to find a good guild, and do the 40 people instances,.. because they are about the best in the game :o (imo ofcourse)
 
just a little FYI about those 10 day trials....even tho u have a 10 day trial key they still make u put in a credit card. I had one to test the game out then i came to that screen and it just pissed me off so im done with even testing that game.
 
Also if I'm not mistaken you cant buy sell or trade on the Auction House. Trade with other players, I'm not sure. Also when your 10 day trial wears out. I am pretty sure you have to start over with a new "perminant" character. If you decide to buy the game.

Does blizzard sell WOW electronically? If anyone knows this question then please feel free to post a link rather then say "you can download it" This helps determine that we are talking about legit/legal downloads as well as is a more direct answer to beyonds question.

My answer is... Any stores that sell video games will have WOW I'm sure. If there is an electronic option (purchase and download) then I'm sure that can be found through a google search.

In addition to the game itself, you can also purchase the pre-paid subscription cards for the game at those stores as well.
 
Try getting a guest pass from a friend who plays WoW because if you do decide to continue playing, you can score him a free month from their referal program......

Edit: They have a free trial program through File Planet which explains the free trial and where he's downloading it......., so supposedly they have a download client through File Planet, which would have been useful when I lost my WoW disks and had to buy a second set......

Guess we have different Opinions.

I've got
Level 60 Orc Warrior on Balnazzar
Level 60 Human Paladin on Magtheridon
Level 60 Undead Warlock on Scilla
Level 44 Night Elf Hunter on Magtheridon

I've had them all go up to the end of BWL and half way through AQ40...and i cant play another character...when you do the quests over again..you remember them..therefore not as much fun :)That hunter at the end..well i got bored of her..and the fact that i was repeating the quests for a 2nd or 3rd time now seeing as i help so many people do em.

EDIT:Anyone want trial keys?I got a few sitting around.

What, we don't have WOW accounts, we have a life...

Man that episdoe is great. MMORPGs don't do it for me, they are all the same they are all easy. I remember back in the good old days of EQ 1 when things were tough, and hard, and people cried a lot cuz they died and got no help from GMs.....

Now, its just point, click, drool....

I haven't played WoW in a awhile but after watching that episode, I seriously had the urge to play WoW again. I mentioned this to some of my friends at school and they too, for some reason, had the urge to play WoW.....

Talk about subliminal messages.....
