i just made a new computer installed everything

and i want to add my old hard drive in ther....is it possible? when the new computer has different drive, parts....? can i insert it without configuring any thing?

or can i insert the harddrive with out erasing my old files?
or as a secondary hard drive...
(without rebooting the computer, i just booted and dl all the utilities...)

Ive done it, there shouldnt be any major problems. It will likely ask you to reactivate windows due to the hardware change though.
