I decided I wanted a Intel Pentium this time I have always had AMD in the past. I have 2 friends that switched from AMD to Intel Pentium their computer is faster and better for everything including gaming. I ordered it online from http://www2.pricewatch.com/public/ ordered from here several times before I have always had good luck.

I clicked the option Bearbones on the left under Computers. This way they give me options to buy what I want I don't have to do the leg work and research on each item 1 by 1 and hope it will work after I put it together.

Under second column on the right side (Intel core 2 quad) I clicked the option (core 2 quad q6600).

I clicked the Second computer option on the next page.

I picked the 3rd Mother Board out of 6 boards with NO onboard video. In the past I have had bad luck with disabling onboard video and putting in my own video card so this time I don't want any onboard video. $39.

Next column I went with the suggested cooling fan. for $36.

Next column I picked 4GB DDR2 800MHZ ram. Fast enough for what I am doing and good enough for gaming. $89. I could have gone with 30% ram for double the price, I don't think so.

I skipped the next column I already have a CD drive, Reads CD & DVD Media. Writes to CD-R, CD-RW, DVD-R & DVD-RW Media. Price here is $44

Next column I went with the suggested case no extra cost to me.

Next column I went with the suggest 600 watt power supply $28.

Next column video cards. This was a bit of hard choice for me knowing the nVidia GeForce 7200 256MB PCI Express X16 is more than 2 times faster than the nVidia 6200 that I had in the other machine and the 6200 worked perfect for everything I did but could have been a bit faster for online gaming I think this is a good choice. I really wanted to go with the top notch bad ass video card but I just can't see spending the extra money and not being able to see any difference in my video with a DSL line which is faster than the Comcast cable most of the time in this area. $39.

Next column flat screen monitors. Geeeeez if I keep upgrading this will be a $1000 computer I will just stick with the monitor I have and skip this column.

I don't need a controller or an operating system I have windows xp pro on CD.

I picked the free options in the next 2 columns. 3-5 day assembly, test and shipping. 1 year warrenty.

Next I picked the $6.75 shipping.

Total cost with shipping $555.97

It will probably be shipped about Wed or Friday. It should be at my front door by Thrusday or Friday the week after that.

Saturday I will install the operating system and have it running.

Sorry for all the typing errors I typed fast I had to leave for awhile. I have edited this 4 times I keep finding more typing errors.
