I knew it wouldn't last :P

Thats an amazing deal! And I have that same mobo, cpu (almost :P) and gpu. You're gonna love it!! :)

But I thought you weren't gonna play PC games for a long time?? Anyways, glad you're back!! :D
That was my plan, hehe. But I realized I still spend almost the same amount of time on my laptop, except I would just watch more shows and browse the internet more. But this time I really want to spend less time gaming then I did before.

Smooth Geoff :P

Hope you enjoy your new rig, the 3870 is a good card (and in XP a damn sight more reliable than an nVidia card).
Ya it is, especially since it was only $160, thats an excellent price!

Heh heh, didn't last too long at all now did it.
hehe, nope :P

Omega.nice build!!..Glad your back and your gonna love the 3870.. Now you know people like us just cant sell our rigs we love so much because there is always that new game or shiney hardware coming out soon...lol :D
What really did it for me was the new TF2 gameplay mode, that is the best game of all time and I just can't stop playing it, lol.

Do you still have the 900, or did you buy a new case?
Yup, I still have the 900 and I actually have a Lian-Li case sitting in my closet as well from another previous build.

+1

I want to see how high he can push it
I've heard that because they have such a high multiplier, they are great overclockers. I guess i'll have to wait and find out :)

But don't worry, i'll let you guys know how high I can get it ;)

Please do! :D and Geoff heres a question, do you think the OS affects the overclock at all? Cause I switched back to XP and was wondering if I could push my E2160 a little bit more. I don't know

It shouldn't, if the CPU isn't stable under one OS then I wouldn't consider it stable at all.
