i just got done watching my 4+ hours of Final Fantasy fan made music videos and FF7's movie (Advent Children) Plus FF: The Spirits Within..... Final Fantasy is THE best line of a RPG.... EVER!!! i mean, just look at how far the series has come, they added new technology to each game, they set standards for most games out today.... how many games do you know that have... what is it now, 12-13 games out, all with the same name? theres a life lession in every game..... and to finish my titles sentence..... I Must Say... WOW!

I'm pretty sure Mario has many more games than Final Fantasy...yeah, Mario definately beats FF. Then there's the Madden NFL games. But really, Final Fantasy needs to take a break.(FFVII overrated)
 
I'd have to disagree with the Madden game series, it's just some added features, but the same thing every year. I'd say that Mario, Zelda and FF and my top three adventure games. All usually have good storylines, easy to play (for the most part), etc.

FF is just tailored for older audiences and has more immersive storylines, I'm just hoping that FFXII will be more like FFVII. FFX was good, but I'd like to see he good graphics combined with an incredible story like VII...
 
Well yea Madden has to stay that way. How do you expect to change football? Feautures are added to make a better enjoyable football environment. It's totally different from FF, Mario, etc... but as previously said about the games.. yes there are a lot.

As for FF, I never played it.. so I really can't comment. But, yea there are a lot.
 
Like you said in the other thread, I think a lot of the time these things are basically "leftovers". Something that the developers were going to do something with, and then decided that they couldn't come up with something to justify it. So, rather than take it out, they just leave it to see if it'll screw with some of the people that play it... :) (I know I would ;))

Mario might have more games but they arent all RPG's.. just a few of them are.

Mario is a good platform game, FF is a great RPG series, and Madden, well just blows hardcore. Same game very year with "better graphics" and updated rosters.

Segas NFL series > Madden ever will be and since EA bought NFL liscence and amke NFL games exclusive to them, I wont be buying another NFL game until thats done with.

FF7 \= being over-rated
