i need a case, powers supply, heat-sink and fan

i don't want it to be crap, but keep in mind i still have to buy a few more items hard drive, optical disk, etc. so i'm looking to spend as little as possible...thanks

are these good choices or could it be better for cheaper?

That is a good power supply PC Power and Cooling is makes the best PSU on the market.

As for the HDD you should get a Caviar Black as the Caviar Green/Blue are slower.

Yea I know I have used them both before. I don't see where the extra weight comes from.
 
They must have hid a brick in there somehwere ;)

The CM 690 is a nice case. Also look into the CM Storm Scout
