I need a good graphics card for £130 (maybe alittle bit over) or slightly under =)

I bought a new computer the other day, but its came with a very VERY shitty graphics card... 512MB ATI Radeon HD4350, but i would like to buy a very good card. I have a AMD Phenom X4 9650 Quad-Core processor, 4GB DDR2 memory , 640GB hard drive and i also now have windows 7? Would a good card run on my system, can you please tell me some good priced cards for £130 or less... Thank you =)

check out ebuyer, usually have some of the lowest prices

for £130 you could easily pick up a decent ATI 5770 or an Nvidia GTS250, either would be plenty powerful enough. I personally still run an ATI 4870 and its run everything i've thrown at it so far.

i would probably go for the 5770 as it is cheaper and has dx11 support even tho the 260 does out perform it slightly

should say on the back of the computer, you will probably have to take the side off the computer to confirm it, where did you buy the computer? if you have a link to the website we may be able to check for you.

If its a store bought brand name computer, you have pretty good odds of having an utterly miserable power supply sadly. The rest of your computer is pretty good, but companies like Dell and HP tend to put the skimpiest little thing in their computers as they can scrape by with, let alone putting in extra powerful components. Might have to come up with some extra cash to pay for a proper power supply to keep your monster going.
