I want to learn Python, the prgramming language, and I was woundering if any of you knew of any good guides (make sure that they are for complete dummies, because I am in the programming subject).

Ths book I used was Programming Python for the Absolute Beginner
It does not assume any prior knowledge of programming, and had an easy jovial tone. Includes CD with Python and some game libraries.

acually i was hoping that the guide would be free and on the web, but thanks anyway.
Yahoo always seems to find things like Python for dummies. http://infospace.abcnews.com/_1_9VG...bar/search/web/python+programming+for+dummies Are you looking for it in paperback or on disk? It's on the web. Just look for freewares.
