I need a new Gfx card, bad computer

I've had my Compaq Presario PC SR57010F for awhile now, and the graphics card (Nvidia Geforce 6150 SE) just isn't cutting it for all the games I've been buying(COD4, Starcraft 2, CS:S).

I looked around on the internet for some answers on what I could buy for my computer, but I'm a computer newbie, so I have no idea.

The basics of the hardware are:

Windows 7 32 bit

AMD Dual Core 2.3 GHz

3 GB RAM

and the Nvidia Geforce 6150 SE.

I looked around on Newegg.com and saw the Geforce 9800 GT. But I don't know if my computer is big enough, or if I can even use it.w

Can someone tell me if I can use the 9800 GT, or recommend any graphics card I can put on the computer that will run the previously said games.

I'm trying to have to change the rest of the computer as little as possible, but I will do so if I have to, so please leave anything else I have to change, if I buy a certain graphics card.
 
Couldn't find your PC on google, however it's sure to have a crappy no-brand PSU. (Power supply)
You'll need a new one before any sort of GPU upgrade.
Download CPU-Z to see your specs, then report back.
Is the computer a mini-tower or standard (ATX, search) size? (The case)
it should be fairly easy to tell.

A better option would be a card such as the HD5670 512MB, can be found very cheaply and uses less power than the 9800GT (doesn't need extra power cables), slightly slower, but runs cooler and has newer technologies. Also it's a nice compact card

+1 to this. A 5670 will run cooler and use less power than a 9800gt while keeping the same performance.
