Hi
I am in need of a new PSU as my current one wont keep up with my graphics card.

I have an AMD 3800+ X2 and a 7600GT card - something that is cheap but that will work for me - any suggestions would be apreciated

preferably cheap an dform a uk site like www.ebuyer.com or www.scan.co.uk

thansk

I don't recommend crap, if someone wants to recommend a generic PSU that may last until his next upgrade go ahead. I don't want to. :-)

The official recommendation for a 7600GT is 350W and +12V@18A. They really don't draw that much power. The Antec EA380 would be quite sufficient, you can get the 430W version if you want a little more headroom. The Seasonic S12 430W is superb quality at a very reasonable price. Do you have a set budget?

I have the Antec EA380 after it was recomended to me by Ceewi1, And I haven't looked back, I can't thank him enough.

What-ever advice he gives you to do with PSU's, I'd take it, he knows his stuff!

Im considering the antec one you suggested - but i want to know if it wil definitely be enough to power my whole system - however the seasonic has a 12m fan which looks more apetising - i would like to says below £50 - can you prescribe the best PSu you can find for £50 or under (on scan.co.uk asnd ebuyer or any other site ) thanks

Think i might go for the NEO HE 430 Watt PSU. However is there a considerable amount better between the NEO HE 430 and the Earth watts 430 watt?
