I want an OS that I can just install and it will work with my wireless internet without installing extra stuff. I need it to surf the web. thats all.

no you have to make your own PE disk with your own OS. Barts PE is another good tool to do this.

Mostly everyone above suggested you download a Linux version, download it and burn it to disk and boot up your lappy with it, have you tried that yet ?

ive tried one version of linux before. but i could not get my wireless internet to work. i had to plug it in. i need my wireless internet to work because this laptop is or school. do you know of any linux versions that will work with wirless internet?

ok i downloaded the gentoo live. burned it as a bootable cd and then popped it in my laptop. but then it came to this screen thats waiting for a command. what do i do here?

Since you wireless card did not work in one distro, it usually means it won't work in another distro. But, Sometimes you can get lucky and it will work. Have you tried ndiswrapper?
