I have been a member of scores of computer forums and other forums across the Internet, and NO ONE has once merged by damn posts because I made more than one. That is just nit picking crap if you ask me. I'm not trying to increase my post count or anything, I do it with a new subject that is more appropriate for another post rather than a paragraph. I consider a post to be a new subject and on my forum I could care less.
 
Well, if I see double/triple posts by members they will be merged. I don't care which member it is. For one, its taking up more page space.

So get used to it.
 
I've been on other forums that merge people's posts... or have an addon that automatically does that based on the post being within a time difference of the previous post.
