I Need Help Pleaaaaase

OK, so my mom has this "Spector Pro" program installed on my computer.

It takes screenshots of the screen and records every website and program you visit, and it records all the keystrokes. I know....it's mad retarded....but one of the things I hate is that it can block internet access...so when this is checked off that whever you vivsit a website it says "page cannot be displayed." I dont know how that works....but i was wondering if there was a way to make it so that blocking the internet would be impossible.

Please dont suggest finding her password, because you need to know a hot key, then enetr a password, then from there know another hot key, and then enetr another password and so on....

I don't think anybody will be able to help you. the best way to your problem is ask your mom for the pass.

Depends on the age of the kid. That sounds like just any other privacy protection program with added password protection.

That will probably involve knowing the hotkeys and password also.

Unless you know how to hack, or your mother kindly agrees to take the program off, you are pretty much stuck to using an internet elsewhere or until you can get yourself your own computer.
 
what im trying to find it is basically how this "internet blocking" works...like what exactly happens to make it so that i have no internet access:mad:
 
This is what I would do http://www.spywareremove.com/removeSpector.html

Spector is a known keylogger and spyware you might also be able to remove it with ewido or spybot then just tell mom (I dont know what happend to it?)

Another thing you could do is create another user account and password protect that from mom...lol!

btw im 16 years old...not a little kid..and yes..it is sad to be treated lik this

but wat do u eman creating another user account...if ur talking about creating another account on windows, it will still record on there..ive tried it

it probably works with the hosts file. when you go to a site it goes thru the host file first or something, its the easiest way to block a site. open it up and copy it in here.

C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\hosts

if its windows XP y dont u just boot up in safe mode and there would be an option to log in as a name called Administrator and why dont u just delete ur moms account or uninstall the program thru that?
 
Reinstall a second windows on another partition of the HD. As far as your mom knows, and can see... the program is still on and working.

Also you could get a startup disc, and delete the program before it can start.

ok..i do not know wat that means...but one thing...i cannot uninstall it...it is hidden and does not show up on the add/remove programs...also i have 2 accounts - one called "kids" and another called "admin". it records both of them and my mom uses the "kids" account...all the time

so i dunno wat to do..i just wanna get it so it will stop bocking internet access
