I need help whit my internet connection

I have one internet connection(4mbs) and 4 of us use the same connection on 4 different computers. The problem is only when i play Counter Strike 1.6 and somebody else is using the internet. Then I get allot of lag(my ping is over 500). Is there a way to isolate my connection on my computer so I always have at least 1.5 mb at my disposal ?
I can't afford a separate or better connection right now, and I don't know even can this be done, but if someone knows a way I can fix this, i would appreciate it. Thanks

If that is your modem/router then yes it supports QOS. Basically you set your pc as priority over all the other pc's. Just set it up in the router configuration page.

I would just like to add that, my computer is directly connected(wire) to the router, and the other three are wireless.
I found that QoS at the advanced setup, but I don't know what to do, i don't want to mess something up :/

You could try a bandwidth limiter on the other computers and set a lower preference.
