I need help with my dual monitors.Is it possible to game on one & I.M. on the other?

I was wondering if it'd be at all possible to have it so that I can play a game on one monitor and talk to someone on MSN or something on the other?

Right now, I have it set up, I forget what it's called, but if I hit the maximize button it maximizes it in one monitor, and doesn't run off into the other. Also it has separate backgrounds(like they both have their own backgrounds, it doesn't run).

But when I play GTA SA in the left monitor and click on something on the right, it minimizes the game. I would like for it to just continue the game and just let me do stuff on the other monitor. Is this at all possible?

Ulramon is a program that makes it the same background... I game on one but I have the game in a window annnnddd yeah I IM people on one and game with the other.

THANKS! I'm about to install in and try it now. Also, when I plug the PS3 controller in and use it as a gamepad, the controlls SUCK, at least in GTA SA anyways. Is there any way that I can make it so when I hit a button, it inputs the button on the keyboard?

For example, I hit Start and it hits Escape(pause) or I hit X and it hits the space bar(jump) etc.
