I need help!!!

Check your device manager and look for a sound device. If you have something with a Red X or a Yellow Exclamition point then it's not installed. Get the drivers for your sound card from the manufactures website and install them.

OK so there is a yellow mark. but i had this computer built so it is not like a name brand computer. what should i do?

If its onboard sound, look and see what the Make and Model of the motherboard is. If its a sound card, look to see what Make and Model card it is. You should update all your drivers, not just the sound. If you cant figure it out, install this and it should tell you what your hardware is.

Usually the software driver of built-in sound card is included in the CD driver of the motherboard. Even if your pc is not branded, your motherboard should come with a CD.
