ok so this is my first build
and my first post on this site
i already bought a few things for my new build and i need help choosing the rest of it

any feedback will be greatly appreciated

Nforce 790i SLI FTW - motherboard socket 775
Intel Quad Core CPU 2.33 ghz
ATX Mid Tower Case


ok things i need to buy that i need help with and a few questions...

hard drives... someone told me i need 2 hard drives for a quad core processor is this true?... do i need 16 mb of cache or 32 mb of cache...

there r two different types of ram im looking at as well... DDR3 1333... 6 gigs or DDR3 2000... 3 gigs.... its one or the other cuz im poor and im trying to keep this thing under 1k... which choice would be better for my build

next picking a power supply... i do plan on running dual graphics cards in the future... one guy tells me 650 watt is plenty... another guy tells me i need 1000 watts

so what do i need for two of these:
geforce 9800 gtx+.... (recommendations for card says minimum of 450 watts for 1 card and minimum of 550 watts in SLI mode)

so these things r driving me bonkers because i want to finish building my system and make sure i do it right without any regrets...
 
There's NO need for 2 hard drives because you got a Quad-core. Unless, you make music or edit video, 1 Large (500 GB+) 7200 RPM 16 MB cache HD is enough. Remember to partition the first 30 gigs or so JUST for your OS. DDR3 1333 should be fine for your needs. 650W is NOT enough for dual SLI GFX cards. You need 850W or above, the other components in your system need power too, especially DDR3....
