I Need Help!!!!!!

PC boots up ok, well gets past the first bit and when you would expect to see the XP log on screen it just does nothing, it was working yesterday until I installed a new 802g wireless PCI Card, I have removed the card but still does the same. Anyone able to help??? cheers

try to start it in safe mode, hold f8 key on startup.

When you installed a new 802g wireless PCI Card you did have your computer unpluged right?

Try resetting BIOS, turn off computer>unplug>take out battery>hold power button down for about 15 seconds and reinstall battery!

Or you could just reset the CMOS jumper lol its a lot easier.

Tried all that guys, the OS just wont boot up, just a blank screen

it happend to my freind he had to wipe and start again because it did not save the files right and lost them because she pressed the on button instead of turnin it of properly
