Im going to build a new computer and spend around 1K. I don't want to spend that much money on hardware with out some opinions.

I currently have an Asus with a core 2 quad Q8200 @ 2.33 GHz, 8 gigs of RAM, 1T HD and a 9800 GT EE graphics card

What im looking at buying is:

AMD Phenom II X6 1100T BE @ 3.3 GHz
Cooler master V8
Corsair enthusiast series CMPSU-850TX 850 W
Asus M4A89GTD PRO
Corsair XMS 4 gig ( 2x2)
with TWO EVGA superclocked GeForce GTX 560's.

Im very open minded and if you make points ill take anything in to consideration.

The questions i have as of now are.. Is the 560 that much better than the 460, i could get two 460's for a 100 dollars cheaper? Do you think i need more than 4 gigs of ram and do you think either of the two GPU's will bottle neck the X6 1100T?

Buying one more powerful card rather than two average cards is much better, in my opinion. What's the price on those 560s?

Save some bucks and get the 1090T. Both are unlocked and clock about the same.

The Cooler Master V8 is not what its cracked up to be. You can get a better cooler cheaper.

Get a AM3+ motherboard. Better compatibility to upgrade to Zambezi later.

You can probably get G Skill memory with better timing and voltage just as cheap or cheaper.

The board does not do SLI. Like said pick out a AM3+ board with a 900 series chipset, some do SLI and CF. I would just go with, like claponman said. A better single card.

the GTX560ti is a bit more powerful than the GTX460, but neither is a slouch by any means.

Thank y'all alot. This is my first completely after market build and I don't want to spend over a grand unless I'm getting good stuff. I thought that mobo was sli compiatable being that it does in fact have two PCI 2.0 X 16 slots

Other then the new AM3+ boards with a 900 series chipset, they are only Crossfire. Unless you get a Nvidia 900 chipset board, which are being fazed out.

And the 560 runs around 250 on newegg.. So I was looking to blow 500 on the two..

If you want a Nvidia card. GTX 580. For the money I would get a AMD 6970 or a GTX 570.

Ok so im taking yalls advice and altering everything.

Iv decided to go with the EVGA GTX 580 1536 MB which runs 490$
Asus M5A88-V EVO AM3+ 880G
Phenom II X6 1090
G.SKILL ripjaws series 8GB
ZALMAN 95000a 92mm 2 ball CPU cooler
and the same power supply as before

Thanks for all the help guys, id hate to spend this much money and screw up
