how much better is the AMD Athlon 64 3000+ 1GHz FSB Socket 939 Processor than a athlon xp 2800 barton core 256k primary cache and 512 secondary thanx in advance
I had a 2800+ equivalent (1800+ OC'D) and the performance increase is considerable. I am sure that you will notice it as well. However, I think that the main difference is in the entire architecture of a Socket 939 system which is certainly more efficient and faster. The Athlon 64 3000+ has 512KB L2 cache.
also if anyone has a 939 board with a 1200 fsb please let me know asap i need it cheep like maybe 64$ so let me know asap other wise ill have to go to ebay.
