I have a sony VGN-CR42Z, it has 4GB RAM and a intel core 2 duo CPU T8300@ 2.4 GHz and an ATI mobility Radeon X2300, my friends desktop has less RAM and his processor is slower, I get the same fps as him on Call of duty 1, but when we switch to cod 5 i'm getting on average 25 fps, which is awful! whereas on his computer i think its somewhere around 70fps, is there an explanation for this? are there any settings i can change to improve fps? already fiddled with the power plan settings and graphics card settings, although doesn't seem to make a diference!
