I need some help please!

Hi,

Ive just purcahsed a GIGABYTE GA-965P-DS3 ATX Motherboard.

Im building a whole new system, my graphics card is going to take a little while to arrive.

My question is will my computer run without a proper graphics card e.g do i need on board graphics for my computer to run. I cant find onboard graphics listed in the specifications for the motherboard.

any help would be greatly appreciated.

You need on board graphics if you don't have a video card and your motherboard does come with graphics on board so you are good to go until you get your video card.
 
I got a MOBO with no on board video. As long as the GPU doesnt say "must install drivers first before adding new hardware" you can put it right in and then do the drivers. But hay, this is just how it worked out with me.

What? No it does not... I OWN that board, and I can officially say that you will need a PCI-Express x16 or PCI card to use it.
