i need some serious help over here

I had an error on my laptop and pc, which when i run "regedit" an error appears- "re-g-istry editting has been disabled by your administrator" and then my pc or laptop restart. Even when i try downloading something, my pc restarts (not all downloads), and even when i try to install some re-g-ist-ry fixing or cleaning program, my pc restarts, and even when i search for that error on google or yahoo, my pc restarts. and eve when an error message appears.

i type re-g--istry in that way because bif i post it with its normal spelling, my pc would restart.

So i re-installed the windows on both my laptop and pc,

and then there was no error, but when i started sharing files, the same error occured.

So can anyone search on google (because i cant) for that error (r-e-gist-ry editing has been disabled by the administrator) and try to find a way to fix it???

Sounds like you're picking up some sort of script or trojan that disables Registry editing. I had this problem. Once. I had to go into the Administrator account in Safe Mode and reset permissions for all user accounts to enable all users to once again edit the Registry. After I fixed that, every time I download a shared file, I scan it with Avast AV manually to check for problems.

The other option is to stop sharing files. File-sharing is notorious for embedding viruses, trojans, and other nasty stuff within innocent-looking files.

When your computer is starting up, you should see a message that says push something (F8, I think?) for advanced startup options. Do that, then pick reboot in safe mode. That automatically puts you as the administrator, I believe. I'd check myself, but I'm using 2k Pro, sorry.
