I used a CAD programme that saved my house plan file in its own format of 'dft', I now use 'Librecad' but unfortunately it will not open a 'dft' file.
'dft' files are also used by Siemens Solid Edge CAD programme which will save out as a more common 'dwg' or 'dfx' but costs loads of money, and the trial download won't allow conversion. Also I can find no conversion programme online to use, so does anyone use Solid Edge or maybe another programme like Autocad that will allow the upload of a 'dft' and save out in the more common format that Librecad can use. Obviously I can Email the file ..... thanks for reading.

Worth a try on here on the offchance that someone uses 'Solid Edge' and could convert for me, thanks anyway.
