hi im kinda new to this site so plz help me out with this..thanks

well i have an "ASUS A8N5X Socket 939 NVIDIA nForce4 ATX AMD Motherboard" and an AMD Athlon 64 3500+ Venice 2000MHz HT Socket 939 Processor ADA3500BPBOX. so i am looking for a great video card and im willing to shell out atleast 260 dollars.. the site im using to look for and buy the computer parts is www.newegg.com and so far they have awesome with delivery and price. well please help me out and let me know where, what and how i can get the most bang for my buck. my email is [email protected] or just reply on here. thanks for your time!:D

I personally think newegg.com is the best place to buy computer parts. Everytime I've bought something from there I've had no problems. I'm not too great with video cards so I cant help you there. As far as memory goes, I would go with Corsair (although it can be more expensive). Another good site to look at is pricewatch.com. I never buy anything from there just because I question the reliability of some of the sites...but its a good place to compare prices.

I'd recommend a x1800XT. You can find one for less than $260 (not the 512mb edition). That one is $270 after $30 rebate.

im willing to spend atleast 100$ to the most 200$ on ram. oh and thanks for the help all of you. is there any brands i should put at the top of my list? or any brands i should stay away from?
