You sucked that one down the drain and polluted it with that VIA chipset... There's certain stuff to stay away from... And that Celeron will probably go to 2.2 Ghz on the stock heatsink and maybe 3.2Ghz on a $25 Freezer 7 Pro... Oh and by the way, your Pentium D uses Netburst architecture, that Celeron uses Core architecture, even though the PD is dualcore... I should've dropped the 320Gb and got an E2160 Pentium Dual-Core and you would have so much fun beating that for $300... I have an old P4 2.8Ghz that runs PS Elem5 fine but I will not use it for CS3, lol.

best bet would be to buy a premade from a company, at that low of prices it will net you your best bang for the buck.
 
Computer Shopper's last issue made a PC ( really nice little mATX custom) for $245ish. I have the issue PM if you want the exact specs on it
 
you guys are kinda missing the point :P
the idea of this is to scour the internet for your own builds, not buy a put-together machine....it gives you a good sense of accomplishment.
