i really need help picking a video card

anuyone.....also, im going to go to compusa and best buy to see what they have there (my dad said that he prefers that i get the card today)

is there anythng else anyone wants to recommned?

Did you open up the pc yet? Because on HP it says that you only have 3 PCI slots and nothing about AGP.

And you should probably check prices on internet vendors campared to compusa first, because alot of times thay are cheaper.

Since you have onboard graphics it looks like you will have an AGP motherboard. If you want a nice graphics card for not a lot of money, look at this one-

My friend also has that card- very reliable and able to play Doom 3 on high.
