I require a firewire converter

Hi,

I need a converter for a 6pin firewire connection from my laptop to my mixing desk. (the mixing desk is firewire only)

My laptop is a Toshiba satellite C650-152 and has no firewire or Expansion slot. I have sdeen the usb and firewire hubs, but it seems that you have to have them connected to the laptop by the correct interface to work, not either/or.

Are there any other ports that could be utilised for any type of converter to a 6 pin firewire?

Any suggestions would be gratefully received.

Sorry to tell you that windows 7 is no longer support firewire. I got two cables try to use it to transfer file between 2 laptops, only to find out windows 7 stop support firewire.
