It blows your mind...period

Nice CPU, but I have lost all faith in Nivida chipets. If you go with dedicated video, you may be fine. However, I've seen so many 6150/7050 boards die it's not even funny... Actually the last two systems I got with bad motherboards to dispose of both had nvidia chipets.

+1!!!!! The last eMachines I had came with the 6150 card and it didn't last much without even gaming on it!!!

I would go Intel SB with 6X series chip set? But maybe just me?:D

Looks very nice to me but I am not up on AMD, they have not been recalled?;):D

don't worry, got a 4670 and a 4550 just in case the 4670 burns out:D

ya, i would go with SB 6X, but i'm trying to save money, i'm on a tight budget, and i have to stay under $150. this is the best processor/mobo combo iv'e seen, especially at that price. lol even though i really want a new Intel core duo or something like that, they're so expensive!!! saw a core duo q6600 and i had to have it...$200... out of my budget, and i also swore that i would be an AMD supporter for life, unless they get outrun by Intel and Nvidia, which is most likely:P

It will be old tech, but, will still give you an excellent run for your money for years to come. I have an old Socket 939 Sempron 1.8 GHz that I boot up every now and then, and can run 720p videos. To me, that means that old tech can still push something lolz Plus, the discounts are marvelous, as shown in the case of this nicely found Mobo CPU combo.

just wondering, right now im using a amd athlon 3400+. is there any overclocking programs that don't require a special mobo?

To be honest, I have never overclocked that processor, as it is inside of an HP Compaq Presario. The Asus mobo is locked, and as such won't allow any modifications, such as boosting the processor or RAM speeds, to be made. I know there are programs for Windows that allow overclocking, but I have more powerful computers for my various other needs. In short, lol, I'm not sure. Someone else could probably answer that more effectively than I.
