So, First off, my computer specs are as follows :
COOLER MASTER HAF 912
BIOSTAR TA990FXE
PowerColor Radeon HD 6850 1GB 256-bit GDDR5
OCZ ZS Series 750W 80PLUS Bronze High Performance Power Supply
AMD FX-6100
CORSAIR Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600
SAMSUNG 22X DVD Burner
Seagate Barracuda 500GB 7200 RPM SATA 6.0Gb/s
Okay, so it as also worked A1, until last night. I drove down to my friends house with it (it was on the back seat, wasn't jousled around), when I got here, I opened it up, took out a stick of ram to show him the size of it (hes new to computers and what not) and put it back it. Thing is, I out it in backwards, and it wasn't seated all the way in, but the other one was, and when I booted up, I didn't get any video output (Was using dvi), and it wasn't even powering my keyboard and mouse, and the code on the mobo says 54. I looked up in the manual for 54, and 54 translates to 84 (with the hexadecimal to decimal conversion) and 84 means LOG errors encountered during POST. I've got the ram in properely, and tried in on HDMI like I had to the first boot because it wouldn't go DVI aswell, but I don't get anything on the screen and just get code 54. And since im at my friends house, I have limited resources as to test it, but I can try most of your suggestions hopefully. Thanks ! PLEASE HELP ME
