I think there is water damage... what do I do now?

Hi guys,

So I awoke one morning to notice that my desktop was on (I normally turn it off for the night), and when I took a closer look I noticed that in a groove at the top of the case (next to the hole leading to all the internal components) there was a little pool of water. Now I have no idea how this happened, but seemingly I spilled water on top of my computer and it stayed on all night long.

There was no signal being received on my monitor, so I tried to turn it off; holding the power did not work so I had to flip the switch to the power supply. Turning the computer back on had the machine start up, but still no signal.

The only internal component which looked physically damaged was the graphics card (and I think it may have looked like that when I got it, not 100% sure). I left the computer for about four days or so, and then I switched another graphics card in, and still nothing. The power supply seems to still deliver power to all the components, as all the fans and lights turn on, but still no signal reaching the monitor.

I took it apart; at the very least the boot drive works normally in my laptop.

What exactly should I be doing next? It seems to me like the only components left which could be damaged are the CPU, the Motherboard, and the RAM, and I have no idea how to figure out which one(s) might be damaged. Is there a way to figure this out if you don't have another computer on hand in which to individually test components?

I should note that none of the components were actually wet the morning I found my computer in this state; perhaps this was a byproduct of the fans being on all night long, but I don't really have a way to be certain.

MY COMPUTER:

OS: Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit
CPU: 2.66GHz Intel i7-920 Quad-Core
Motherboard: ASUS P6x58D Premium
Memory: 12GB (6 x 2GB) Corsair Dominator 1600 DDR3
Boot Drive: 160GB Intel x25-m G2 SSD
HDD: 3 x 1TB Samsung Spinpoint F3
Original GPU: HIS Radeon HD 5750 1GB GDDR5
New GPU: EVGA GeForce GTX 570 Superclocked
Case: Antec 1200
PSU: Antec CP-1000

If anyone can help me out I will be extremely grateful. I had kind of spent all my money on this computer last year, and don't think I could afford more than replacing a single component or two.

My only suggestion would be to reassemble it outside the case to see if it boots up. I doubt you have cpu damage, most likely motherboard if anything.
