I think they're dead pixels, I'm not sure

Alright, I have an LG 22inch Flatron L227WTG monitor. a few days after I plugged it in, I got this line down about 3inches right of the center. Now, the thing is, On the dark background, you can't see it. The colors are mostly yellow, sometimes red. So are these dead pixels?

And how to fix them.

If worst comes to worst, LG has a 3 year warranty, so :D

You can search google for a dead pixel tester. Each site is a bit different, but most of them are good at detecting dead pixels.

It's a solid yellow line down the screen. Only shows up on the red and a little bit of the green when I run full screen colors.

Sounds like you have stuck pixels, how many?

most companies require at least 5 stuck/dead pixels for a repair or replacement. But they're usually flexible if its under 5.

There is a solid line about a pixel wide and down the rightish center of my screen. It's likes to blink in some places. Is this making any sence? I don't know how to explain it better.

take it to a friends house/put in an old graphics card, sounds like one of your graphics cards is artifacting

I did research on that, Cause I don't know what it was, I don't experience any of the farout things some of those people have. When I play Crysis Warhead it's fine. It's just that one line even when not playing games. like now.

EDIT- No I don't think it's any artifacts. Crysis runs fine. Only one or two blinking rocks but nothing terrible.

Could be a crack on the LCD, I've got one, usually yellow and only viewable on brighter backgrounds. Turn off your monitor and see if you can see it (this would help if your LCD is a matte screen).

Nah, I've tried that. I was talking to the LG dude, I guess I have to send it in. Lucky I have a long enough VGA cable to my HDTV so that'll be fun.
