i took off all the lightings laser lights neons light hdd coollers neon lighted fans and stuff and the temp dropped like crazy. :D it was running 70c idle before

wow, very hot for a prescott. I normally get around 50 celcius with one case fan and stock cooling for the 560. Outside temps are 85-93 usually and i have no airconditioning. So that's very high...

What?

What is the temperature now that you took off all the lights and stuff? Much lower?

JAN :D

never really saw the point of all the lights, i guess they look kind of cool but then a pc case is never the most attractive thing in the world and i dont really want to advertise its presence. Hey maybe i should make one out of a nice pine or red wood, now that would be a good case mod.:D

Since those lights dont make much heat, i'd be very concerned about a/some components in your box not reading temps properly.

Regardless, is it possible all those lights were putting too much of a load on rails with fans connected to them? (doubtful but more realistic than lights causing the problem directly)

I am thinking that the case

had excess of fans placed

inadequately, because now

it's running cooler with less

fans...

Then, the airflow must be checked...
