idk like uber customer support, i prove that my windows is legit and they help me get it up and running again... but really. is there any other way? (besides pirating)

ok please is there any other way?i dont have the money for a ****ing windows cd

like can i explain my predigament to a windows support guy and him give me a cd?

Were you overclocking the AGP/PCI bus as well as the FSB? If so, your hard drive might have gotten corrupted :(

yes i was. would a corrupted hard-drive be fixable? like say if i download a fixing program on my flash drive and boot from it?

well actually, i dunno what oc/ing the fsb would be. i overvolted it a bit though

Did you just overvolt it? If so, you weren't really overclocking :o , you were just raising the voltage (you raise the voltage a little at a time when you are overclocking, to make the processor run stable at higher speeds). If you want more information, look into Overclocking 101.

ok guys thanks for everything, i guess i'll buy windows again, and maybe keep that receipt that newegg is giving out for vista ;)

juust wondering if you were able to clear your bios...if not then open your case and locate the battery...now there will be a "jumper" actualy if you click on the link for your board and then click on mqanual and it will be ibn there...but its a set of 3 pins...2 which have a plastic peice on it...remove it and connect it to the center pin and the one that was exposed...then switch back...you shouldnt neeed to boot just sweitch it then put it back on the original 2 pins then boot and yopu should be gpop dto go.....sorry scratch thhis i didnt read the entire thread...good luck sounds like a real pain
