just to let you know, codecs are the reason some MOVIES don't work..

..could be a internet problem as well.

well, there are a lot of different kind of codecs that allow you to play certain movies with certain movie players (Divx, Quicktime, GOM player)..

w/o a certain kind of codec, the movie wouldn't be able to play

..but that probably wouldn't apply to your website problem...
