I want a quiter PC!

My PC is currently rather noisy. I'd like to quieten it down.

This is the CPU cooler I'm looking at.

I would be upgrading from this.

Would I notice a difference? My current fan usually spins at about 1200 RPM.

It looks as though it will fit on any card. Does that include low profile?
 
lol, I bought it from maplin coz I needed it quick!! It doesn't seem too loud but I'd like the thing quiter. Do you reckon that the alaska graphics cooler is no good either then?

whats your max budget for both cpu cooler and gfx cooler?

i could try and see whats the best for your budget :)
 
hmm...how bout these two...comes to £45 and i know you said £40 but teh reason the price is over £40 is because of delivery.

ok, they look good, will the zalman fit my nvidia 8400gs? on the website it says it fits the 8400gt but I dont know the difference between them!
 
Im pretty sure the 8400GS is just a downclocked 8400GT,So the card should be the same lenth/size.

It should fit....but before you buy anything get confirmation :)
