I'm need of some help. I'm attempting to build a gaming server but I'm not very computer savy. If I may please have you please list the items my price range is 2,000. Thank you greatly.

How many concurrent players?
How much up/down bandwidth do you have?
Usually it's more cost effective to just rent a dedicated server in a data center. A lot of the time it will be as cheap or cheaper than buying your own server and colocating it.
Probably a minecraft or a call of duty or battlefield along those type of servers so I would considering 10 to 25 clients on it. I will have the highest bandwidth my cable Sevier will provide.
Mine will be 75 mbps I don't know the upload speed at the moment. Based on what you stated I would think I need to consider other options for internet speed what would other options be?
