oh and crucial will tell you how many slots your computer has and what speed it can handle. As long as its a factory computer and you find the right one. Just go through the finder thing to find your specific Ram for your computer.
 
I don't know what four slots you are looking at on your motherboard but I guarantee you that there are memory modules occupying some of your RAM slots. If you had no RAM sticks in your motherboard it would not be functioning.

Be sure to touch the bare, unpainted metal of your computer case frame before handling any RAM or computer components to prevent damage to any parts in your computer.
