Hi, I would like to sell my old laptop because I don't use it anymore, but I have no idea how much it's worth.

HP Pavilion dv1310us
System: Windows XP
Professional
Version 2002
Service Pack 3
Computer: Intel(R) Celeron(R) M
processor 1.50GHz
1.50GHz, 504MB of RAM

Everything works fine, but laptop overheats after a while. Also the laptop is still in very good condition, doesn't look old at all.
Thank you!

Hi daangdena,

Thanks for your inquiry and for purchasing an HP notebook. Since our system shows that your notebook was introduced in 2005 and since the HP support cycle ended in 2008, I feel that you have been given an accurate estimate of the current value of your notebook. You may want to call the third party that manages the HP Trade Up and Trade In Program. Based on similar inquiries, I believe the quote from this program will also be in the $50 to $100 range. Let me know if you have other questions about this model.

Good tip is to go to www.google.co.uk/shopping and type the laptop name in, usually it shows the cheapest online offers for it new/used, it's great for quick price referencing.

As it's an old laptop it'd probably be best being sold for scraps as nobody would want an old laptop anymore, you could try gumtree (in the UK... I think it works globally too).

Good luck on selling, I hope my GoogleShopping tip was useful.

I think a better place to search for a price reference would be ebay. It will give you an idea what the cheapest price is in regards to your laptop and then you ca price your own accordingly and competitively.
